We are lucky to live close to many beautiful state parks. We try to get out and enjoy them as much as possible. I surprised Jaron one Friday by packing a picnic so we could go hike at Taughannock. It was a really enjoyable day. Lily loved walking in the water. We just went up there again on Memorial Day. My family met us and we had a BBQ. It was a very enjoyable day. Beautiful weather!

I Love To See the Temple...
Lily has been talking about the Temple lately. We have a picture of the Palmyra, NY Temple in our kitchen. Lily points at it and says, "that's where you got married." Then she says, "I want to go!" So this past Sunday Lily asked to go again, so we decided that we would take a drive Sunday afternoon. It was such a beautiful day! The temple is so beautiful. It was special for Jaron and I because that is where we were sealed for time and all eternity four years ago next month. We enjoyed taking pictures of our kids. We are so grateful that we live only 25 minutes from a temple!

Go-Carting Fun
When we visited my sister Rebecca and her family, we were able to have a family night enjoying their new go-cart. It was fun! Lily was a little scared, but it was a neat experience for her. Jaron and I had a lot of fun since we usually are unable to do something like that. Most of all Jaron had fun driving around with our brother in law Kevin. Now that we are home, I love to hear Lily say, "I want to do again Mommy."

Missing our family out west!
During Jarons break this past month, we flew out west to see our family. We flew into Seattle, WA, because we found tickets $140 each round trip. From Seattle, we rented a car and drove to Boise, ID to spend a week with Jarons family. This was a fun time. We were constantly on the go. After Boise, we drove to Portland OR to spend a few days with my sister Rebecca and her family. We had so much fun visiting family and making memories! Lily misses her cousins dearly. She learned a lot from all of the big kids that she was surrounded by for two weeks!
