Our usual Christmas Tradition is to go out the day after Thanksgiving and Cut down our tree. When we were in NY we went to a tree farm. Our first few years of marriage in Eastern Idaho we went out and cut one down in the mountains. It was fun but a LONG day searching for something suitable. When we lived in Oregon, we also went to the mountains to cut one down. The first year we thought we were going to die. There was so much snow and our Van did not do well on the narrow roads. This year we were going to opt to buy our very first artifical tree. But we decided to try to pick one up at the end of the season for a lot cheaper. Jaron found this awesome tree farm right down the road. Our tree was only $25!! And it is by far our BEST tree!!!

Makenzie was with us but fell asleep right as we arrived to the tree farm. The car is right next to us so we let her sleep.
Poor Jaron had such a hard getting the tree to stand up. It wanted to lean. Finally Jaron just tied it to the wall!!
This is what happens when a big sister plays with her baby sister. Lily loves to dress up Makenzie. Makenzie is usually a good sport about it.
