Christmas 2012
We caught Santa on Camera!! The kids were so shocked that they did in fact actually catch Santa in action! Priceless!!
Our stockings all filled!
Makenzie was so excited! But she was up at 4:00am so by time we started opening presents around 6am she was grumpy and ready to go back to bed.
Dino Jammies and bath robe from Grandma Doyle!
These blankets were my favorite gift for our family by far. My dear friend Susie from Oregon sent these for our family. I met her a year ago on a chance occasion. I called the Oregonian to get a subscription to the newspaper and met an angel to our family. I called Susie to thank her for the Christmas package and was told by her son that she had passed away the day before. Susie was very sick but never complained. She always thought about others and making a difference. I will always remember this sweet angel.

Shannon Family comes to Visit!
On December 23,2012 our good friends from Grants Pass, OR came to visit. They have family in Meridian so were in town for the Holidays. We are so lucky that they spent a night with our family. We have missed the Shannon family dearly! The kids had a blast playing with the Shannon kids again! We were neighbors in Oregon so our kids spent most days outside playing with one another. So the move was quite an adjustment. We will treasure our time spent with the Shannon Family.
Once there was a snowman!
The snow first came on Christmas Day. It really was magical. A perfect ending to a great Christmas. Now almost a month later we still have lots of snow. We missed this in Oregon. For the past few weeks though we have had very cold weather. To cold to go out and enjoy the snow. We are ready to have the temperature warm up. The kids are worried that Spring will never come. I assured them that it will.
Connor goes to Preschool
Connor participated in a preschool coop this Fall. I rotated teaching every week with four other moms. It went well but we decided to change things up. Our local YMCA offers preschool. I have him going Tuesdays and Thursday's from 9-12. They have an awesome program for the kids. Next year we might put him in three days a week. Connor is such a smart little boy. He knows all of his letters, the letter sounds and his numbers. We are working on reading and writing.
Makenzie is 15 months!
Makenzie turned 15 months this week. Oh how the time flies. This month she got her top molars and is now working on her bottom two. She is such a happy little girl. She loves to dance in circles, and eat popcorn. She enjoys playing with Connor and Lilian. She loves to tickle. She is climbing up everything. She loves to climb up the chairs in the kitchen. She would rather stand on the bench and eat with the family then sit in her high chair. She knows what she wants but cant talk. So she will throw a fit until we figure out what exactly it is that she wants. She also loves to climb up the toilet seat to get her toothbrush on the sink. What a joy she is to our family!
