Makenzie is ONE!!!!

Makenzie has been such a joy in our lives. It is hard to believe that she has only been here for a year. At the same time, I am so sad that my baby is all ready a year! She is such a sweet little girl. Full of life and wonder. She learns so much from her big brother and sister. We enjoyed her birthday with family and friends. The night before we had spaghetti. Makenzie LOVED it. On her birhtday, we woke up and opened our present sent from Grandma Doyle. We loved the new outfits so we took a fun photo shoot!

Daddy and Mommy made a cute Unicorn cake. She loved it.

Here are the best photos I got of her. I had a blast capturing the cuteness of this little one year old!
For lunch we met our friends Elli and Jessica at Mcdonalds. The kids loved playing! Later we made Halloween cookies and played outside. Makenzie LOVES the swing set. Jarons parents made it for a light dinner. Then we had the rest of Jarons family and our friends the Sebastians over to celebrate. We enjoyed the night with Carmel Apples and presents. The cousins played outside on our new swing set.

Another Hernia Repair Surgery!

Last March 2012 Lilian had a Hernia Repair on her right side of her lower abdomen. Now seven months later, Connor had a Hernia Repair on his left side of his lower abdomen. Supposedly this is not genetic. It is just more common in premature babies and boys. I got both! It was a really crazy week. Connor turned 4 on Monday, his surgery was Thursday and Makenzie turned 1 the day after.

Connor reallly enjoyed his surprise box from Grandma Doyle. He loved playing with his new toys. It kept him occupied.

Here he is all dressed up and uncomfortable.

At this point he was druged up and much happier. They are taking him back for the surgery. Overall everything went well. He was sore for a few days afterwards but that is to be expected. We are grateful that overall he is a healthy little boy!

Much thanks to our good friend Jessica for watching our girls early in the morning! It was much appreciated.

Birthday Season!

On October 5, Jaron turned 30!! We had a huge party planned with friends and family. Until the flu came. Connor was first on Sunday, then Makenzie and Lilian followed on Wednesday. Jaron was sick Thursday and yes of course I had to wake up on Jarons birthday throwing up! Poor guy. His birthday was spent taking care of a sick wife and three kids. We did still have a party that night. Only Jarons parents, sister and our good friends the Sebastians were brave enough to come celebrate with us.
Last Saturday, the YMCA hosted a 1mile race for the Canyon County Classic. We entered all three kids. We were impressed at how well the kids did. Lilian finished among the first few and Connor ran the whole way with me running along side with Makenzie. It was awesome! We were proud of our kids.

Jaron went and volunteered serving water to all the finishers.

Connor turned 4 yesterday! He had a great day! Lots of presents and lots of fun! We started to day at the Doctors office. Connor is having a Hernia repair surgery on Thursday. Yes we just did this for Lilian this last March!  Then we came home and got ready for his birthday party. We had 9 little friends over to paint pumpkins and play on our new swing set. Later that afternoon we picked up dinner and he got his free ice cream from Baskin Robbins. We finished the day out with Dinner with uncle Owen, and cake and ice cream with Grandma and Grandpa and Aunt Mariah. What a fun day!
