We had planned on going to the Temple all week. However weather changed our plans. We made it to the exit and decided it was better to go back home. So we played out in the snow with the kids instead.

Caldwell Night Light Parade
We had so much fun tonight at the annual parade in Caldwell! So many lights! We enjoyed the night with our good friends Caleb and Suzy Lakey. We left right before Santa came at the end. MaKenzie and Connor were done. This is our second year. We hope to make it a family Christmas tradition.

BRUNEAU SAND DUNES
Yesterday 6-15-13 We took a day trip to the Bruneau Sand Dunes! It is about 1.5 hours from us. It was such a fun day. We had a picnic, played in the water, climbed the sand dunes, relaxed under an umbrella, watched a HUGE raccoon raid the garbage and enjoyed watching Connor and Jaron hike around the lake and the sand dunes surrounding the lake!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!
April 9th-THe day i was born!
I had such a wonderful birthday this year. Jaron spoiled me! He woke up at 5am to make me breakfast in bed. I was sang to by the kids and was able to ready many sweet cards from them. I opened my Kindle Fire HD that I had been wanting. Mom went in on it with Jaron. I love it! Later in the morning Gayle (Jarons mom) stopped by and brought cheesecake and a beautiful blue purse with a bracelet. So very thoughtful! A few hours later, my friend Jessica stopped by to visit. She bought me a beautiful apron! I love it! Jaron took a half day so was home after lunch. My friend and neighbor Jennifer watched all three kids so Jaron could take me to see The Host. It was a great movie. We read the book a few years back so it was exciting to watch. After the movie, we enjoyed a yummy dinner. Jaron make Salmon with lemon rice and steamed broccoli. YUM!

STRAWBERRIES
My HOT deal of the week were finding these strawberries on sale for $1/pound. They were really sweet and juicy so I bought 28 total pounds.
Connor and I spent most of the day washing, cutting, flash freezing and storing these yummy strawberries for our green smoothies that we eat.
I have special knives from pampered chef for the kids. The kids cant cut themselves. So Makenzie got in on the action. She loved eating the bottom parts of the berries mostly.
