We had a wonderful fourth of July 2012. We started the day early with our friends the Rappleyeas. They came over for a yummy breakfast. Followed by a walk to the park. Makenzie rode on the tricycle for the first time. We inherited this from cousin Cian years ago and have loved it!

The kids played at the park all morning.
They are trouble together. But play so well with one another.
After hanging out with friends all day, we went and had a block party at the Johnstons home. Our friends the Johnstons invited friends over for a BBQ and water slide party.
The kids had a blast!
Around 7:30 we headed home to get Makenzie to bed. Then we headed outside for our own little firework show. The kids loved the snappers.

These were dangerous! Lilian and Connor both burned a whole in there foot. We will be wearing socks and sneakers next year!
